Events

The Club offers its members a carefully curated programme of private events and case studies, led by our members and blue-chip corporate partners at the top of the board space. We tend to offer three or four hand-picked events each month, showcasing the most informed voices and enabling information sharing and learning between members.

Our events span the full breadth of board-level concern. For example, in partnership with one of the world's leading corporate law firms, members took part in an activist engagement simulation, with roles played by a wide range of advisors. It explored real case studies, emerging trends, and practical mitigation strategies. "Really impressed. That was super pragmatic inside information from such experienced practitioners. In another session, hosted by a specialist insurer and cyber risk advisory firm, members experienced the real-time dynamics of a live critical breach simulation, understanding first-hand the decisions and mitigation opportunities that arise when a serious cyber incident unfolds. "Very worrying. Other recent highlights include a drinks reception with the board practice of a global headhunting firm; a special guidance session on remuneration resolutions; and an in-person breakfast on AI and deepfakes. "Excellent tips for building a strong, proactive security culture."

From AI pilots to enterprise value

Tom Wynter, Global Managing Director Product & Platform at Kantar, will share how the business has organised and run its AI-powered transformation, and how it is turning investment into measurable value. He will be joined by Tuukka Seppä and Tamsin Hirson of BCG, who will draw on their work with Kantar and other organisations navigating AI-enabled change. Together they will explore the leadership, governance and execution choices that matter most, and where Boards can add real value through effective challenge and support.

Quantum and the boardroom

Quantum computing is moving from long-term possibility to near-term competitive question, with implications for security, systemic risk and decision-making. Colin Bell, NED of Oxford Quantum Circuits, will lead the discussion alongside CTO Simon Phillips and voices from Serendipity Capital, Man Group, Julius Baer and Starling Bank. The session will consider how organisations can protect critical systems and unlock opportunities that classical computing cannot reach.

Drinks with Egon Zehnder's Board Practice

Following the success of our event earlier this year, we are delighted to host another drinks reception with Egon Zehnder's Board Practice team. Co-hosted by Karoline Vinsrygg and Rebecca Rentoul, the evening offers a headhunter's perspective on the priorities facing boards.
